Those sturdy walls make wifi transmission a bit tricky, though so Sarum College IT Officer Ryan Turner gave the wifi reception a boost this week.
Now those who want a beautiful space for meetings don’t have to compromise on the tech.
Sarum offers two types of mobile presentation screens for event organisers. Both screens offer multiple HDMI and USB ports to display presentations. Used in conjunction with web-streaming equipment, these displays also have the facility for remote participants to view the presentation and be seen in the room, helping to bridge the gap between in-person and remote attendees.
The Cavell Room is equipped with a built-in projector, as well as a hearing loop system. Laptops and portable digital projects are also available.
